It's a Katydid. Weird name, I've always thought.

Rag,

That is a gorgeous constrictor.

What is it?

Henrik, naw it's a Katydid. I think I explained how they made that noise with their wings just like a cricket does. Maybe I was still slurring my words after all that 12 year rum. ;)

Court, Id suspect that I am not the weirdest thing ever to be seen on a Buell. Wasn't you mistaken for an alien once while taking shelter from a storm on a porch somewhere? : )

Rag, forget the snake... that is one cool old upright piano you've got there. Looks like the one I learned to play on. Best honky-tonk piano ever is an old upright.

There's a piano in that pic?

I woulda screamed and peed.

I woulda screamed, peed, and then ran into the closest tree.

A friend of mine had a CB350F in storage for years. He was cleaning out his storage shed and decided to pulled it out for me to look at. The shed was full of mice that scattered and scurried everywhere everytime we moved something.

When we got the bike out, I sat on it and something in the mass of wires near the headlite made a noise and moved. I kind of panicked and jumped straight up and off the bike. It looked like I levitated off because I jumped so hard. My buddy and his wife were laughing their asses off but they really went into convulsions when I said, "What's so funny? That's the way I always get off a motorcycle".

When I was recovering from my crash, a wasp made a nest in the cooling fins of my rear cylinder. It's a good thing that I didn't live in the south and have a killer bee's nest take over my bike.

Blake,
It's a Dumeril's Boa from Madagascar. I got her as a baby and have had her for about 9 years. 7' long now at about 20 lbs.
Jb2,
That's an old Twichell Cabinet Grand, made in Chicago. It's been in the family about 45 years.

Blake,
Extremely docile except for feeding time, then you'd better keep out of the way!! The only truly mean snake I've ever had was a Blood Python. After a years time it still tried to bite me. Took five tries at me one day!
