>>>>Frederick is right along I-25 just north of the Denver metro area.

My bet is you'll be able to "hear" their neighborhood before you see it.

Court,

Funny you should mention that. The other day Mike (Friberg - master Buell wrench) was tracking a front end wobble on my Force-equipped M2 and I could actually tell setting at my desk in the middle of the dealership when my bike took off and returned from test rides from about a block in. God I love that thing. Between Aaron and I this poor neighborhood has no idea what it's in for! :)

Ferris, I'll put a sixer of Left Hand Brewery Deep Cover Ale on it. Go to www.colorado.com/info/weather.asp
If you can prove me wrong give me a link. If not pay up sucka! (to borrow one of our friend Jesse's favorite phrases)

Justin, the following is not exactly what i'm looking for, but it's got me close enough to wonder how good a cold Deep Cover Ale would be right about now... ;)

In the July/August 1999 issue of Weatherwise,
Vicki Flanagan of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, asked. . .

Which U.S. state averages the most sunshine each year?

ANSWER:
Consider the percent possible sunshine, the ratio of actual hours of sunshine to the possible hours of sunshine (assuming the sky is perfectly clear), by month or by year....

...The annual figure for the southern Great Plains (from the Nebraska Panhandle to west Texas) is about 70 percent. You can find 80 percent from southern New Mexico to southern Nevada and even 90 percent in the hot deserts of interior southern California and southwest Nevada...I consider the Denver area where I live to be quite sunny (almost 70 percent annually)...

...Another way to look at sunshine is to examine the total hours of sunshine per month. The variability across the country is greatest by far in December, ranging from about 60 hours along the Pacific Northwest coast to 260 hours in the Desert Southwest. In June, though the days are longer in the north, the Desert Southwest still gets the most sunshine, over 400 hours, the result of persistently clear skies.

Yet another way to examine sunshine is to measure the total solar energy falling on a horizontal surface during a month. Not only does the Desert Southwest have the fewest clouds and the most hours of sunshine, but the total input of solar energy is also the greatest in the United States.

Ferris,

You may have me on the ropes my friend. Don't think I'm not still searching for evidence to prove my point. I will not go down without a fight!!
