What is the diameter of the 27 tooth pulley (sprocket)?

Andrews 26 tooth pulley (sprocket)
diameter (top of ridge) = 4.07in (103.5mm)
diameter (bottom of valley) = 3.98in (101mm)

I can check later at home.

Why do you need to know? I run a 26 tooth on my M2 and have plenty of adjustment room if that's what you're worried about.

The larger sprocket would be 3.846% larger in circumference than the old one (27/26 = 1.0384615....). So I'm guessing the diameter would go up by the same percentage:

New 27 tooth sprocket
top of ridge = 4.226 inch (107.48 mm)
bottom of valley = 4.133 inch (104.884 mm)

What I need it for is so I can figure out if I can run my '03 XB w/ the 26T pulley, which I have from my old S3 bike. I never installed it on that bike.

The Buells went back to using the 27T sprocket, so 2003 XB is now an odd year belt and pulley.

WOuld like the double check on those #'s.

If you are still running the '03 sprockets on your XB, you won't be able to use any sort of sprocket that will fit your S3. The teeth are entirely different. The '03 XB's used a finer pitch (more teeth per inch) final drive belt/sprockets compared to other Buell belts/sprockets.

If you are running the '04 or later XB sprocket/belt, then you may be able to use the smaller pulley, but it will likely leave the belt a bit loose. Could be a bad thing. Might not be so bad a thing. Probably a bad thing.

Hope that helps. : )

I'm planning on doing the 03 to 04 conversion on the belt system for the XB. This is why I've been asking all the diameter questions lately.

If I am able to accomplish the 26T sprocket I will be one of the first to do so... A PIONEER~

Good day
