Do these PCVs work like the ones found on cars? Is it a one way valve that lets pressure out but won't let pressure in?

I'd like to do the PCV conversion to my tuber and I'm wondering why I can't just drill my stock rocker covers for automotive type PCV valves (or just a 90 degree hose fitting) and be done with it.

Comments?

Do tell. Did you use auto PCV valves or just tube fittings out of the rocker covers? Where did you drill the hole?
