I don't know where this is and that's OK by me: #3 is only funny because it isn't me. |

That coaster looks sick! I love riding those things. Someone needs to find out where that is so I can take a trip. |

That looks like the Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar point. It is in Sandusky Ohio http://www.cedarpoint.com/ http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/index.cfm

Pic #3 is EXACTLY why I don't go on those rides - I hate having to do "unscheduled" laundry! |

It's my feeling that the girl who wet her pants was in an entirely different situation. I don't think she was riding that coaster. |

Actually, Mike, I think your right, but I wouldn't be surprised if some people got off the coaster looking like that. |

I got to spend the whole winter of '95 at that place,as a flunky surveyor helper laying out a 3900' long 145'high coaster(relativly low, small one for Cedar Point)The wind never quits blowing in off the lake and it was one of the coldest periods i remember. The layout seemed to go on and on and the high steel workers, for some reason ,decided to assemble the last 2 ends together about 90' up.Man,it was a relief to see them finally match up. |

Cedar Point... that conjures fond memories. The cold Winter wind off the Lake does not. I like Texas! |

I have been on that 2 times... and belive me it is freaky. It is a real trip to see it run.. the whole thing runs on a cable system.. accelerates the cars to 125 MPH in 2-3 seconds, and shoots you up that incline, then back on down... The funny part is, there is a computer that calculates the EXACT weight of the car so it can make it over the hill.. one time it goofed... i was on the Iron Dragon (right next to it..) and i saw the car going backwards... no one was hurt, or even injured. But i would have definetly been like Pic #3.... If you go to Cedar point this summer COUNT ME IN! |
