Started a new thread to negate having to scroll through numerous posts to get to the files. Latest spreadsheet attached - changes/updates from last version appear in BLUE Again, if the file doesn't open directly, try copying to your desktop and launch with Excel Let me know of any comments, changes, concerns, or wishes Hope this makes sense, Andrew |

Thanks for this. Just like the last time, I stuck it on my desktop and changed the extension to ".xlsx" and it opened fine in excel. |

I would imagine they are Signature timing covers without the bike they are associated with |

That makes sense, never thought of that. |

Yes, John is right. Spare signature covers (or complete signature sets) separated from their bikes - I have two spare S2T covers myself. What is really strange is, there are 4 1995 S2 signature series sets that just sold on eBay by the same seller that have bike numbers but the VIN, build dates, engine and crankcase numbers are blank on the build plates (472, 587, 557 & 576). I went ahead and added them to the list anyway. |

I wonder how the bikes get separated from their signature covers? Seems they'd go along with the bikes when sold. On the other hand I don't have my S2T covers. |

I have, or had, a couple spares and was just buying anything that popped up on e-bay about 10 years ago. The great find . . . and one of the most amazing Buell stories . . . was the Badwebber who was at an auction, yard sale, tag sale or something and found a pile of paperwork . . . it was ALL . . . including the original design drafts, the correspondence as bids were requested and the detailed drawings, packaging details and detailed pricing for the Signature covers when the program took place.

95' #1095. Ice pearl white. Saved today. Previous owner had it topple over because of the kick stand issue. Damaged the front fairing. He repaired the fairing and rear view mirror. He never got to repainting. Anybody got Bodywork they would sell? Needs a lot of loving

Ok, maybe I’m an idiot, but I have downloaded it but still doesn’t come up... it’s probably because I do everything on iPad and iPhone, I don’t even have a desktop or non iOS products anymore... could you maybe email me the data? Sorry if I’m a pain in the ass, lol.. wcbrracing@gmail.com.. eric |

I'm on all Apple devices and all I have to do to open it up is drag the file to my desktop and change the extension to ".xlsx" and it opens fine in excel. |

I use a windows PC. when you download the file, it often is copied into your download folder, with an extension of .UNK Your computer doesn't know how to open these, so it does nothing. As 4speeder stated, just find the file, and change the executible to .XLSX and it will open for you. |

Hey Tigerman. I updated the list and was just going to PM you and attach the updated file, but I was not able to attach the file to a PM...................so I'm attaching it here. My edits (2) are in red, 1 in 1995 S2 tab for SN 065 which I sold to Joe W., and the other in 1996 S2 for, ironically, SN 065 for the S2 I own now, which I bought from Lauren in Baldwin KS |

A question about the Signature series package. Where all the 95' S2's given one whether they have the 1B or 4MZ vin? If so I'd like to know if mine either received one and do a history of the owners to locate it |

Court or one of the other "elders" needs to chime in on this, but I believe all the 1995 and 1996 S2 and S2T were at least assigned a SS package. However, I also heard some never got to the original owners for one reason or another. Also, many were lost or not transferred as bikes changed hands. I am the 4th owner of S2 #817 and contacted the previous 3, one of which looked for and, sure enough, found the package and sent it too me - but I was lucky that I had the documentation showing the previous owners. Not so lucky with my S2T #241 - no clue of the early owner(2) other than the guy I bought it from with no package |
