I've been trying to find the 1/4 20 Black Torx screws 1 inch long. The ones used to secure tail sections, and other plastics on S1s, Cyclones... etc with the well nuts and black nylon washers. I can find the pan head screws, but they aren't the large head. Any one have any idea where to get any? My HD dealer does not cooperate.

Have you tried a hardware store (NOT lowes or HD)?

Check out a Fastenal or Automotive Fasteners etc, they'll have just about anything you can think of in stock.

This type of bolts are also used on the xb bikes.
Don't know if they are that long.

I spent quite a bit of time checking every source I know of to find those critters. If someone finds the Buell/EBR provider I'd be happy to receive all the info (manufacturer, model, etc.). Somebody makes them but I haven't found out a source...unless I wanted to go to allen-headed button screws VS torx.

No metric, M6, T30 and black...with a shoulder. Only options I found weren't an exact match without wholesale replacement for all to look the same or not having to grab a different driver. I know they're out there...somewhere.

I don't believe they sell to the public but if anyone could get them, it would be these guys:
http://circlebolt.com/

I used them for years, they're a really good company.
