I've pulled the top end 3 times since and reused the gaskets with no issues or leaks.   Chrger68 Posted on Friday, July 17, 2015 - 01:40 pm:        I'm thinking of trying the Cometic C9855F with the .03 head gaskets. Anyone had good/bad luck with switching the std .04 head gasket for a .03 head gasket for a little higher compression?   Hootowl Posted on Friday, July 17, 2015 - 02:20 pm:        You have to KNOW your piston to valve clearance to use the .030 gasket. Not think you know. Know. Pistons and vales work well together, but you should never let them meet each other.   Chrger68 Posted on Friday, July 17, 2015 - 07:49 pm:        Yeah I've done some research online on setting your squish gap seems pretty easy.
