The Baker Long Life 26 T steel pulley can be ordered by any Drag Specialties purveyor as well.

Thank You Buelistic & Jayvee,
Anyone know how long , you could expect the alloy front to last?

I got less than 10,000 miles out of mone. I ended up switching to a 65 tooth rear which made more of a difference.

thanks i'll get the cast iron one,
but just wondering if you managed to fit the 65 rear using the same belt? or did you have to get a longer belt, what sort of riding do you do?
thanks for info

Koz5150, what happened at 10,000? Spline stripped or outer teeth worn?

A friend of mine has the BDL aluminium 26T on a 96 S1 he has not done a lot of miles but he drag races the bike, so put's a lot of shock on driveline, so i the splines will hold up probably tooth wear i would keep an eye on it.
i'm interested to know if the 65 tooth rear sprocket will run with stock belt or is longer belt needed?
i think would like to try the 65T rear i think with 26T 61T = 3.7 final ratio 27T 65T = 3.8 .

I've seen two versions of aluminum front pulley, one that's solid aluminum, and there's another one out there with a steel insert for the splines. I don't know who made which, but the insert is visible in pictures of them. I had the one with steel splines for a short time (pre-Baker6.)

my friend who drag races S1 said he has BDL
i think i would need a longer belt if i put a 65T rear with 27T front? the belt i have is 128T

Well, I can tell you I am running a stock belt with a 27 tooth front and a 65 tooth rear with no problems. I got 1000 miles on the setup so far.
