I replaced all the oil lines except the case vent on the top by the starter. I tried the 3/8 flex line but it was too much of a bend so I went back to preformed line. Any suggestions ? |

I used oil line and re-routed it so the bend wasn't so sharp on my S3. Lengthened it so that it vents under the seat near the left rear turn signal. Nothing's coming out of that line until the crankcase seal fails, it's just to equalize air pressure. |

Make sure to cap it with a filter of some sort. Mud daubers like to nest in those lines during periods of disuse, clogging the vent and causing shift problems, and seal-puke problems. DAMHIK. Something as simple as a piece of shop rag on the end, held on with a zip tie, will work just fine. |
