Will an S2 fit in the back of a 6' bed pickup?
Will the tailgate close?

Thanks

Yes. You'll likely need to put it diagonal though.

I would leave the tailgate open vs. having it at an angle. If the bike is properly secured, the position of the gate is irrelevant.

i could put my m2 in a 6' f-150 bed with the tailgate closed and the bike straight, dont think the s2 is any longer than the m2....

An s1 fits in an element with no tie downs perfectly. Just in case you come across that situation.

You should be using snow tires if you're riding in that weather.

If you have one of those extended fold up gates, it works even better......

Here are the ramps.

http://www.discountramps.com/black-widow-motorcycl e-ramp/p/BW-40-AMR/

This was the day I picked bought the S2. Made a road trip into Illinois Friday evening to pick the bike up Saturday morning. I freaking snows 8" overnight. What else you going to do 650 miles from home? Load it up!!! Lucky the ramps extended right into the sellers garage so the take off was easy. Stopping in the truck bed was a little unnerving even though the snow had been swept out. The snow was still coming down at a pretty good rate. It was a great trip!!
