I thought this thread was about someone looking for options on an engine build...
This seems to be about one person with an issue, as no others have chimed in about their business relations with Dan and NRHS, so its wearing a little thin, but not really my place as I am only a forum member, gathering here for the friendship and support of my fellow BUELLIGANS.
I don't know the background and quite frankly I don't care, I've enjoyed doing business with Dan and NRHS (however and whenever he and the current iteration of the shop came to be) as they have treated me well as a person chatting on the phone and as a customer, and for that I will continue to do business with him and his company in the future.
In an attempt to move on to better things and see this post returned to helping a good dude build a solid motor, (ok I have an incredibly selfish agenda, as I may use the data that comes from this post one day if I rescue another S2  ..) I offer a toast to all the good people here!

My apologies to all but one here for taking offense; I don't really like people talking crap on my friends. I'll keep the rest of my posts here relevant, in case we haven't already turned off the parties interested in the thread. |

I want you to build an awesome kick ass S2 motor and then bring it to my party in July so we can put it on the dyno!!! |

Not S2 related and I have only read a few posts but I built up my S1 motor and Dan helped me out. Has great customer service, very knowledgeable, high quality parts, and would get my $$$ again just my 2 cents
He talked back and fourth with me for several weeks helping me figure out exactly the best way to approach what I was trying to achieve and he has never met me so as far as I am concerned he is top knotch. |

Jeff I am from MN and there is a lite shop in Hamel called Hamel power they are hd bases but he works on anything. He is very knowledgeable in Buell and mods this is a 2-3 man shop good prices as long as you can deal with all the "angels" around and other loud mouth bikers.
Also fyi Zylstras in Elk River their parts guy Eric is a huge Buell guy has a highly custom M2 really great to work with
