Came out this morning to find a puddle of oil under the rear shock and no compression or rebound. Is this a home repair or does it need to be sent out for service.

Home repair is not for the inexperienced. I'd replace it.

RaceTech will repair it for a nominal fee.

To do it yourself you'll need to find a seal kit, a press will be needed, and the nitrogen will need to be recharged. Re-filling the shock oil can get a bit messy as well.

RaceTech does a great job.
