Another thing I was thinking along the same lines as Rat above:

These things have single fire ignitions.
Is it possible the plug wires are swapped?

Intake and exhaust leaks make them run crappy. not usually stopping it from running all together.

One more fun fact:
Oxygen sensors don't do anything at all until they are hot. So unless the engine has been running for a few minutes, the computer doesn't even pay attention to it.

MAS sensor check

did you mean BAS [ bank angle sensor ]

no current codes on the posted page

plugs wet OK too much fuel

injector check remove the intake air box cover so you can see into the throat of the tb.

cycle the run switch / key on off 5 or 6 times to run and stop the fuel pump check for raw gas in the inlet, if present injector problem...

I presume you have and have checked for spark

I presume that you have checked compression

were did you get the Ohms meter spec for the o2 sensor? what was the reading?

static timing can be checked carefully using ecm spy

sorry intel temp sensor Used to calling it mass airflow sensor.
Did the throttle body check injectors NOT leaking.
Have spark have compression
Made video of static timing it's on youtube.
It looks to be advanced any thoughts

Today I reset the timing with ecmspy
and a voltmeter.
It's centered and at 5vdc

Quick question is TDC set off the front or back cylinder manual not specific?

I checked the fuel pump pressure myself just to confirm what the dealer told the prior owner. It's at 46 psi it probably higher, but I have a cheap gauge that leaks.

Checked for spark again I have it
reset tps this time at 5.6%
set spark gap at 38
check intake/exhaust leaks

I going to enrich the fuel map and see what happens

Well I think I found my problem my coil is out of ohm spec

Primary resistance (1) is 2.5 ohms should read 0.5-0.7 ohms

Secondary resistance(2) is 12.5kohms
should be 5.5-7.5K

Now time to search the internet for a used one.

that makes sense good catch,

wierd that the coil would be that far out of spec and still delivering good spark.

Your fuel map is also too lean compared to my X1 with an V&H. But I don't think that is the root of your issue. You should load Race maps once you get your cam position sensor issue sorted out.

Static timing is done off the front cylinder.

Make sure you come to the TDC mark.

Plugs out, 5th gear, rotate rear wheel in CCW direction until you see the intake valve (front cyl, so you are standing/sitting on left side of bike) open and close, as viewed through spark plug hole.

Now rotate rear wheel until front timing mark is centered in timing inspection hole.

Loosen two screws on CPS, cam position sensor. Rotate the sensor CW until you see the 0/5 on ECMspy turn to a solid 5. Make sure your "keys" are on in the ECMspy program.

Tighten both screws on the CPS to 15-30 inch pounds

To all electronic gurus, that would be "PFM" as I remember it from my USN days.

It should but at work now won't be able to test it out.

Also to save your eeprom
connect to bike make sure you're "live/key symbol"

click eeprom tab
click fetch eeprom
on top bar click file save epprom
Save the eeprom.txt somewhere easy like desktop

now on forum just use the upload attachment button
Thanks again

you were missing the top text

I substituted with mine

Could you list your firmware version
it listed in the eeprom tab once you upload
