i was wondering how everyone else's front brakes feel like (stock) my front brakes work pretty darn well but they feel kind of i dont know weak in a way, i have to pull the lever in pretty far for quick stopping, and the top of the lever feels soft unlike when i pull it in really hard, i have the stock rotor and new pads, i have not added nor bled the system in 6 months, is this normal or do u think there could still be some air in the lines..thanks

I can tell you that i just changed my pads, still in the stock rotor as well and iv been thinking the same thing the last couple of days.

I stop very well, but to stop fast i have to pull the lever pretty seriously. Your brakes sound just like mine.

well i guess that must be a stock thing then, hopefully someone here will have some advice. i likle the brakes but they are not that solid feeling in at the lever, and yes the fluid is the DOT4 that is recomended for my bike.

Tie a zip_tie around the brake leaver and the bars, locking the brake on over night.
This allows any air bubbles in the line to pass through and rise to the surface.

Cracking the bleeder valve during this gravity bleed procedure will allow bubbles not in the line to escape.
