Just to let you know. Mine was stolen from the PO. The thieves lived about 1 mile from his place. Took it from the front porch during the night. It turned up on Craigslist. Pics of it were out of place in the weeds and a sharp Police officer that liked MC's and browsed Craigslist noticed it was out of place and went after them and recovered it. He placed a phone call acting interested and the story they had didn't match what was printed in the Craigslist ad. I hope you get it back unscathed. | ||

WHAT! man this sucks! i remember seeing this bike at the smoke out BBQ back when Erik and Co. came to Dallas. Man i know how u feel, it's been 1 year now since my S1W was stolen here in Austin.. hopefully it will turn up, best of luck | ||

I hope it surfaces quickly. Its too unique to try and sell in 1 piece unless the scumbag is plankton stupid. I'll print a pic of it and keep my eyes on E bay for the parts. That's what I was thinking - security cameras on campus or nearby stores. If someone were to check all of that footage I bet they could come up with something. Though depending what local law enforcement can investigate may determine what can be done. If it was a murder then people would be all over finding video for clues. A stolen bike, I don't know ... But a crime is a crime and a damn thief is a thief that should be tracked down. What they did in the old days to a horse thief should apply to an iron horse! | ||

Thanks all for the help!! No security cameras in this area. Only thing I have is a person came forward stating he saw an individual rolling it to a nearby neighborhood right off campus where there are some suspected thieves in the area. Campus police and local police are familiar with the bike and doing all they can. I'm in the area as much as I can...looking. | ||

No new news Sean, I'm afraid that bad boy is gone gone gone. Starting the process of trying to decide what my next ride may be...thank goodness for the CRF 450 Honda motocrosser to help me through this...haha. Will keep you guys posted on what happens next, thanks!! Keith | ||

I wouldn't get down so soon, I had a firearm stolen a while back and was sure it was gone gone gone, then i got a call several months later and it was turned up in a DUI pull over, found under the seat. point people lay low for a while before trying to move something so you never know, you might buy a new bike and it turn up then you will have 3 bikes! let's hope | ||

Still keeping the faith. Police have an idea it ended up in a seedy neighborhood adjacent to campus where some punk ass thug bitches have been known to steal bicycles and motorcycles. Been casing that area and talking to whoever I can in the area...we'll see! |
