My S1W recently started making a loud tapping sound when idling hot. It sounds like it is at the very front of the motor, but doesn't affect the power or the idle. It has only done it after riding around town and stopping at red lights.
Any ideas?

Might be a lifter, try some SeaFoam then an oil and filter change.

Front of the engine? Front Isolator maybe? When the rubber gets warm it becomes more compliant? Check to see if you've got any tears.
