anyone? i found one site that sells bronze ones but they are discontinued or something.

that would have been nice, bronze looks much more durable.

any other places have them in stock?

ditto with American Sport Bike, but they don't carry the bronze bushing kit for the early tubers with the boomerang shifter. If you have the later one then no problem.

I have the boomerang and ended up getting mine from that other source and they worked out fine.

Unfortunately American Sport Bike is not carrying them for now. Manufacturer issue.

I know I read somewhere that you can get bronze bushings at Lowes or other hardware stores and turn them to fit (I think in Imaposer2's Identify these parts? thread).

I think these are the older style shifter bushing you are looking for. This is not the same as the link earlier in this thread. The other link is for the newer style shifter.
