Anything special about removing the front pulley on the X1?? Any link anywhere on removal? How about torque specks for the nut when I put it back on??

Thanks.............

Transmission sprocket nut has left-hand threads. To prevent
damage, turn nut clockwise to loosen and remove
from main drive gear shaft.

Jim, initial torque to 50 ft/lbs., then scribe line and tighten an additional 30-40 degrees beyond that to line up the four bolt holes.

You can tighten the nut a little more to align the bolt holes, but DO NOT loosen to align them.

This procedure is spelled out on page 6-35 of the FSM. I'll be home after 4pm if you want to stop by.

Thanks Steve.....I still want to come over to see if we can find my motor issue. This coming weekend maybe?? Let me know. As far as the pulley goes, I just picked up a new side cover that will show off the pulley. Too bad they look like shit. I think I am going to have it chromed along with the plate so I just wanted to know how hard it was to get off. As soon as my Eliminator is back from paint, so I have a bike to ride, the pulley and some other stuff is off to the chromer. I am also ordering the ECM cable and maps this week so I should have it by the weekend.......Let the fun begin. I'll call you later this week about this weekend.........
