posted on craigslist in december, an hour and a half away:

The price would have to come down a lot, obviously.

Have you noticed that the guy that parts all the tubers on ebay.....davidjruden, ends up with all the good craigslist Buells in the area? He advertises in every city in a 300 mile radius from Omaha. Most likely that is where it went.

I had bought a nice Corbin seat from the Dubuque Craigslist. Davidj contacted the seller and convinced him that he needed it for his buell. It was on ebay for $250 more than he paid the next week.

I'm curious if he is or was a Buell guy supporting his habit by parting some bikes, or if he just happened to pick Buells to profit from. Maybe a chopper guy that jumped on the Buell engine bandwagon?

Has anybody dealt with him or know anything about him?

he's posted here before...

when i was shopping for S1 parts, he had a complete body set, the pics of the body work were on a complete S1, when i asked about the bike, he said he'd sell it complete for X amount of dollars, otherwise he was parting it... That doesn't fit the definition of a 'Buell guy' in my book..

So, what can be done about a situation/person like that? Something more than negative feedback on ebay?

I'll admit to having bought a couple items from his ebay store, but his prices are usually about 40 years ahead of their time....similar to gun prices in 2008, i still laugh at those suckas!

... he should use those hi-tech cameras and zoom in on his Buell parts so he can put up better pictures ans stop misleading people. Sometimes you CAN tell a persons disposition just by looking at them BIG "L" to this guy.. BUELL parts Buyers should boycott

Lets face it..
"Our bikes are Very high maintenance".
We need a source of parts from somewhere to supply our needs.
You should try living outside the US! Usually we resort to Ebay, ie. really crappy already worn out stuff salvaged from dead or dying Buells halfway across the world ,purchased from some deadbeat with dollar signs for puples. What else do we do to keep our bike alive.
Hopefully EBR will do better with the Austrian Rotax engine instead of the former Chalf cutter motor..

Yes, Ebay seller ID is "davidjayuden".
I agree, I won't be buying anything from that Dude due to principal.
He is a "Buell Cannibal"!! LOL! Can't blame him for wanting to make money but just seems like you could leave the working bikes in one piece and sell them as a whole to keep the spirit alive. But from what I see here that doesn't apply to him or his cameras.....

If you don't buy it someone else will.
To ostracize this guy is a plot. These bikes fall apart every time we ride them. He just buys the leftovers.. Good on him I say!
Support the sponsors who are always ready to help by all means, but don't miss the boat.

Aaron - you can try Al at American Sport Bike

Looks like he MIGHT have some new headers in stock (MAYBE)

Generally, if you have ANY questions on anything Buell - that's the first place that any of us go and look.

Why? Just because he speaks his truth? Labeling someone a troll just because you disagree with his opinion?
I have in the past needed a part asap and that seller had what I needed. Prices too high and sorry for the bikes he strips, but it is a free country and not everyone is emotionally attached to old bikes.
