Used a X1 tach and dash on my M2 for about ten years. Used a X1 windscreen along with it to fit the dash shape, and more especially to block a little more wind.

Worked fine, wiring is easy, there are two wires not used if you use the X1/S3 tach since they have an engine light (ecm data), and low fuel warning light (black/yellow & yellow). I just tucked them back into the sheathing.

I got a M2 tach from 651lance on ebay (St Paul H-D) for thirty bucks when I converted my S3 to a carburetor. If you want to use the engine light for your oil pressure and the fuel light for your neutral light, it would be easy to do.
