and also this bike is finally how I have it envisioned since day 1...

the double ZTL was a mission accomplished, cause sooo many difficulties came along (find it, re-build it, fit it and fix it).
the Discacciati radial master is simply a work of art.
if I have time tomorrow I will shoot a few more pictures during the day, cause there's other little details I couldn't catch with the flash.

Wow.... Thats a lot of orange.

your the first person I've seen with that wheel setup on the forum. Who actually made it, and how did you get your hands on it?

I personally enjoy my ZTL2 setup more, logistically speaking, but I always loved how the rotor was a larger diameter and thinner on yours. I wanted to try and get a stock rotor laser cut to have more of that look.

Good job man!

Foximus,
there's someone else who has that set up on the forum. but he has a 5 spoke wheel.
that set up was made by Breaking and unfortunately discontinued a few years ago. I have been looking for one for years and finally came across this one a few months ago in Italy. it cost me more to rebuild it than the kit in itself, but now I must say it was worth every single penny.
I had to look at the bigger picture that Breaking guaranteed spare parts for 10 years after being discontinued, so I bought an extra set of pads and 2 extra rotors. I will have to purchase 2 more pads before it's too late.

I also have to say I love that master cylinder and lever. Super stubby. Most 2 finger levers actually are 3 finger and just suck.

Edoardo continually makes most of the rest of us look like a bunch of schlubs.

He keeps making his bikes into the coolest Buells, ever.

What are we going to do about this?
Maybe we better make him buy the beer, or something!

Can't wait for the daytime shots!

Nice job!!!

Al

Can't tell:
Is the front swingarm mount polished/chromed?
Are the front calipers polished?
Needs something polished toward the front, for balance.

That's one he// of a vision !
Very impressive.

Thank you guys.
Bbbob, I bought that bike from a guy here on this forum about 3 years ago named Andrew, if I don't get wrong. it was a piece of crap. It was completely black. All I needed was the frame and the motor, then I discovered not even the motor was in good shape, since I had to re do it completely.
But anyway, now it's completed.
Jayvee, yes the motor mount is polished, but the calipers are not and won't touch them, at least for now.

Ed, I sold the bike to Andrew, it was in worse shape when he bought it. I worked at an HD dealer at the time, it was taken in on trade. I bought it cheap & sold it to Andrew for what I paid...knowing how bad it was (pretty much a pile of worn out parts) makes your work even more impressive. You did an amazing job on it!!!

thanks again guys, I really appreciate all of your words.
Ltbuell, I guarantee this bike was a total waste, ready to be demolished.
but again, spending money on a bike, doesn't necessarily mean that the bike will end up being a nice one.
I've seen so many people wasting their money.
you need good taste and knowledge of parts in order to come up with some good customization... ; )

Gorgeous work Edoardo!

Looks amazing, your vision, and knowledge of parts is impressive. Are those D616's? They look nice on there, though the previous set of tires were pretty darn sexy. I dig the header wrap too, adds just enough edge to a bike that looks very refined, on the whole.

thank you Littlebuggles,
yes those are D616's there. my previous ones were Avons Xtreme Rain, gorgeous tires, but waaaaaaay too soft for the road. they were supermotard track tires, I couldn't even get 3000 miles done with them. and they were NOT CHEAP!!!
S1owner,
that's a stock '99 motor, so it came like that from factory. and yes, it holds very well, so far no chipping.

I cant see any bolt heads on the gas tank/frame trim pcs.
I was wondering how you hold them on.

Im thinking of epoxying on a bolt from the back side so that I dont have to drill holes in the carbon fiber.
