Looking for a way to improve shifting. I have heard the bronze bushings are a big help, but they are no longer carried at American Sport Bike. Does anybody know if something close can be purchased at like McAlister carr etc. ??

If you have the 2002 shifter, I don't think it uses the same arrangement as my 2000 X1 with the boomarang and long linkages.

What bushings are you talking about?

Those look pretty sweet.
Personally, I have no real problem with the plastic ones so long as they are replaced about every 10K miles.
They do get floppy though : )

They also try and price gouge.

$3.00 Buell tank emblems sell for $75? Come on. Hell, dude was selling the $14.95 Pegasus catch can for upwards of $90 at one point.

I didn't either, until I saw the item I had just purchased was selling for so much less at Al's. It's all part of the learning curve.

They had clear ones awhile back but I'm guessing he bought them out...capitalism at its finest.
