Anything off a Ducati cross over? I'd like to find a set of vintage 5 spoke Marchesini mag. wheels. I just don't know if anything is close enough to make work.

This looks like it would fit...

I just haven't seen a matching rear wheel.

you would need to use all your bearings and hardware from your buell marchesini's but they should be able to be made to work with some effort.

the rear wheel will take alot more work tho, at least a custom pulley or chain drive to make it move, then a modified caliper hanger if the rotors and offset are different at all.

not saying it can't be done....

Boy if any model of Ducati can be found to work, I'm getting some of those BST carbon wheels.

doesn't even have to be ducati specific. most any wheel can be made to work if you can throw enough money at it. and if you can afford BST's then you can probably also afford to pay someone to make them work.

Just about any wheel can be made to fit with assorted and such. The problem is that almost all of them will have to be run backwards on the rear to get the pulley/sprocket and brake lined up. That's why 2 years ago when I planned a similar build I looked for the 10-spoke Marchesinis found on the 999 and other sportbike, because the back looks the same when flipped.
