S2T # 37, 133,000 miles still Runs Great !!! But being forced in to rebuild. So will add a Thunderstorm III kit,1998 lightning ignition Module,

New Bushing pins. Now as far as I know being my third almost 4th bike with 100,000 miles ++++.The others BSA,s The bottom ends still when torn down on crank one side roller bearing and the other plain bronze where still in within tolerance! So think my bottom end will be OK ? Should also put in new lifters.

Butch at this point you are going through the whole motor, I would put new lifters in @ 100,000 miles. Yes I would, but maybe you are not as hard on parts as some people are, wow 100,000 miles??? At least with new you wont have to tare down to replace.

The Firebolt headlights are not all that for lighting up the road.

Butch, The F-bolt lamp housings will not take the heat from the higher wattage bulbs. There was a recall on the lamps because of the reflective coating degrading over time, but even as new they are just not that great a lamp. Now Hella makes a lamp that is just a wee bit larger that would be the BOMB for lighting up the night. Some of the F-bolt guys did some refits with them.

Then these are smaller.

The headlights in the Orange bike are not Firebolt parts. They are Catz w/ 55 watt bulbs. Rickie did a great job on my bike!

Butch, have some similar pics of mine in the same condition. I need to knock it out. Stay on it. I have been riding my 1125R, so not in a hurry. But she deserves to be up and running.
