Make sure you're buying the kit and not just the mount. The kit relocates the voltage regulator. | ||

No mine is all OEM set up. If possible, I'd like to just upgrade the mount and skip the VR bracket to save a few $. | ||

If you have the old style mount, and the old style regulator bracket, you need the kit. If you're just replacing the Y bracket on a bike that came from the factory with a Y bracket, then you already have the new regulator mount. Thanks. I may be one of the few lucky ones but my "old" mount seems to be holding up quite well so far. I think its because I religiously followed LaFayette's installation sequence tips every time I removed and re-installed the exhaust system. | ||

Mohsen, The part number for the updated VR mount is : C0333.01A1 It's only $5.20 on LSHD. I think you'll need the proper bolts yet too, not sure if the ones you pull out will work or not. Either way, it's cheap to put it together yourself. | ||
