I lost my gas cap off my 97 M2. Is there a cheap alternative cap HD etc that will fit.
I'm kinda ashamed of the corncob.

Just ran down to the garage, the XB caps won't fit a M2 tank.

Sorry, I have no idea if there are other alternative caps out there.

Check our sponsors is my first suggestion, American Sport Bike may have something, Al stocks things that a dealership just wouldn't have around.

If you are looking for a keyless cap, use a Blast gas cap. I added one to my bike when I switched to a keyless ignition.

That has the bolt-on ring and all. Shouldn't it be less without that?

I never lock mine, even though it came with a lock.

I just ordered one for myself today. They are usually 80 bucks so 40 is a great deal and if you call you can sweet talk the parts girl will give you free shipping. I didn't think 40 was much considering its a brand new factory Buell gas cap. You gotta think is saving 10 bucks on one that you are going to constantly have to screw with because its not the right one really going to be worth it?
