Howdy, American Sportbike is plumb out of 40mm WP fork seals, and says thery're backordered from Buell. ETA unknown. Does anyone know of an alternative supplier? I've looked around and had no luck so far. My S1W is down for the count. This is the last time I do a major service before having parts on hand......lesson learned. No fault of American Sportbike. | ||

I don't know if this is a viable option as I just googled around...BUT, are these any options? I'll let the vets chime in here...Hopefully I'm wrong and someone will correct me as they usually do. Aren't 98 and earlier Buells WP and 99 - 02 Showas? Traxxion is awesome...that's where I bought my Penske from... They give nice discounts. =) (Message edited by brinnutz on April 24, 2010) | ||

Is it just a prob with the fork oil seals? What about other fork parts, like the bushings? Anyone know what other bikes used the same forks? Then you could check with a dealer of whatever brand that would be. | ||
