That's right! We need you to step up and purchase the Banquet Package to make this event one for the ages.
If you're planning on attending, why wait?
Did you know that we have door prizes? If you purchase the Banquet Package BEFORE December 28th, you'll be entered TWICE for the door prizes!!!!!
I happen to know that one of the door prizes is worth over $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chances to win the door prizes are INCLUDED with the purchase of the Banquet Package!
Why not double your chance??!
Erik Buell and his band "THE THUNDERBOLTS" will be playing at the dinner. That's also included in the price! Be it your first time, or 100th time. Meet the man that had the vision to build the bikes we love!
Planned Event include:
>Banquet, Concert, Autograph Session, local "twistys" rides, Mississippi River Ride, Events at Hal's H-D/Buell, Events in East Troy including a photo at the Town Square".
Many other things are in the planning stages and will be listed on the www.buellhomecoming.com site.

Seriously folks. This event depends on us selling 150 Banquet Packages before the end of THIS month to make it happen.
This truly is a grass roots event planned by your fellow BUELL owners that don't want to see "HOMECOMING" come to an end.
Let's show Harley Davidson that they can't hurt a truly loyal and passionate group of riders.
LET'S SHOW THE WORLD THAT BUELL STILL LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the best news I have heard in a long time. I hope you can make it Butch. I would love to see you and your bike in person.

This will be that last "nag" post you'll get from me. I may bump threads back to the top of a page, but no more nagging from me. I will just add some information as it becomes available.
I will just write a few things now in hopes to light a fire under the asses of those that are still undecided or figure they'll wait till the last second, or plan on showing up hoping to get in the Banquet.

In order to get into the Banquet/Concert you must purchase the Banquet Package BEFORE the Event. We will not be selling the Packages AT Homecoming. It may sound selfish, but I plan on enjoying Homecoming this coming year. That will not include standing outside the banquet waiting for straggles to come and pay. We WILL have wristbands for and a list of those that have paid. The dinner, bar and concert are for those that have paid. It would not be fair to let people that haven't paid in. Sorry but that's the was it has to be.

The main point to getting a date set so early was to give people ample time to get time off work and plan for Homecoming.
You can still purchase the Package after the December 28th, but we really need people to step up to make our initial 150, or we will lose everything.

ALSO, keep in mind there is a legal holding capacity for the hall. It is more than the 300 dinners we started with as we just needed a starting point for Paypal. However, and I will find out soon what it is, there is a finite number of seats available, and once we hit that number, that's it. You're left out.

So long story short:
-Get you Banquet Package early!!

-BANQUET PACKAGE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT HOMECOMING

-No one will be allowed at the Banquet without a wristband

-There is a certain number of seat available, once sold out, you're S.O.L.

-DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I missed last year as I was out of town, and I am still P.O'd. You never know what can/will happen.

Let me add to what Rocco has said. We do not as of yet have a cut off date for this Dinner/concert package. BUT there will be. At the end of this month I will have a date that will be set by Alpine Valley Resort because they need to know how many they have to prepare for. Usually they have a cut off about 3 week's prior to the Dinner. I'll know all of this at the end of the month as Rocco and I have one more meeting with them this month. So if your up in the air on this and you snooze. You may miss out on one of the best Buell owners experiences you will ever have while being a owner of your Buell. How do I know ????? I've been to 10 of them and it has defined what being a buell owner is. Don't miss this.

Thanks

I'd love to participate, but I really can't commit myself now, I need to get closer to the date of the event to see if I will be able to go and take off at work, considering also that by the end of May I will have to go back to my country for a family business.
just one question: would it be possible to make a reservation about a month before the event? and does somebody know if there are fellows coming from South Florida willing to tow one or more of my bikes?

Edoardo,

I'd have to say it will be safe to get a reservation month before the event. Alpine Valley are host will set a cut off. They will let me know at the end of this month. I'll let you know what it is if you like. As far as getting your bike here from Florida?? Start a thread to find out who's coming here. See if someone can help you.

yeah, please let me know Dana.
I'll have to be in Italy by the end of May, so I'll get off of work 1 or 2 weeks then, I'll see it tough to get another week end off.
unless my plans will go as I think and by then I won't be working at night anymore.
either way, I need to get closer to the event to have a final response.
there might be some italian buellers from "Tribu` 6800" in the USA in June, so I might be not alone.
I'm promoting the event there too...

I want to go, but it is a major ride from Florida, and I don't trailer. 1277 mi.... last time I tried a trip that far I ended up breaking down in New York on my way to Mass. Man that was an adventure. Spent 10 hours stuck on a 3' wide median under the GW bridge till a cop stopped traffic long enough for me to push the bike off the highway, in the rain. (uphill both ways, lol)

anyway.... don't really know where I was going with that thought, just wish I could go on this trip

For room reservations, call the Alpine Valley Resort at (800) 227-9395. Tell them the dates you are going to stay and that you are with the Buell Homecoming event to get the discounted rate.

Room's are 70.00 for week days and 80.00 weekends. Partner up and save even more.

Since you guys will all be there, and able to pose questions to the man himself, please ask Mr. Buell if and when he is coming to Europe.

I am in Germany, and would travel almost anywhere on the continent (on my S3T)to make an event or show that he or his band was appearing. Please keep us guys and gals on the otherside of the Atlantic plugged in. there are alot of Buells here in Europe, they seem to get the American Sportbike thing over here.

Tonight we officially locked in Alpine Valley Resort as the Host Hotel and Banquet Hall. The dinner will be Friday, June 18th.
Rooms will be locked out for us until the end of March. Reserving a room requires a credit card to hold the room, but you won't be charged until the stay.
Now for the "bad" news.
What we have left on the shopping site is it for availability.
Once the counter reads Zero, that's it. The banquet is sold out. No more seats are available. The hall is at it's legal capacity. With the 300 seats on Paypal, ones we received by personal check, and the "Adopt an Elf" seating (former BUELL employees that had their way paid by donations) we have reached the limit.
You, of course, can still attend Homecoming. However, you won't be able to attend the dinner/concert.
Keep that in mind. Buy now if you want to be involved.
Thanks.
