That's pretty neat looking.
It appears to be a heavly modified stock unit.
I like the way the spools were added to the back of the slot. I may steal that idea for my M2 project.
It's a bit hard to tell from the picture but the welding looks a bit inconsistant.
Probably perfectly sound structurally and strength wise but lacks a bit in the "perfect stack of nickels" department.
Might just be the angle of the shot though.
Someone spent a lot of time on that one..

nice but i would have counter sunk or ground down a valley around the circle for the weld. Then ground the weld down flush so no sign of welds would show. But its still cool.

Can you countersink it with the swingarm being hollow?

Like the look.

Been pondering something similar for a steel swinger. With bracing. No weight savings, just different.

That's one good looking rig. My only question is, are the spools sticking out any further than the nut? From the pic it looks like the spool needs to be a little bigger. That mounting block looks good powder coated also. Great job.

Tutte, glad to see that you're at it again! I spoke with you for a while at homecoming this past summer. Standing just inside the door at the end of the factory tour, you showed me pictures from your ongoing project.

Still looking good!

For anyone that doesn't know, or hasn't seen it already.. Tutte is the mastermind behind the only aluminum X1 tank cover I know of in existence. I forgot how many rivets were used building it, but it looks absolutely tits!

I love those wheels and everything else listed on this thread. One question though- are those wheels going on a Buell? If so, how are you going to address the left side drive setup, run the wheel backwards or?

Hi,
i was yesterday and the next meeting is on Saturday at my " roundmaker". I have no idea what is the right word for this guy.
He made me new adapter for the back wheel. So that the wheel drive's not backwards.
The pic from the wheels are not correct, because that is the stand when you put the wheel in a Honda VTR 1000 F.

Frank, I also met you at Homecoming, 1313 introduced us at Hals. Thank you for the present. I have it safely tucked away in my Buell box.

Will you be coming to the next Homecoming???
