try cleaning the frame VERY well, use the epoxy and let it cure overnight, not 20 minutes

I would recommend 3-M 5200 Polyureathane adhesive. You can buy a tube at any marine outlet.

But be careful with this stuff. It works almost too well so, if you put something on, it will stay on and will be almost impossible to remove.

I use it for permanent bonding of parts on my boats and bikes. I recently bonded a rubber pad to the center stand stop on my Suzuki Bandit and it is definitely a permanent repair. If I ever want it off, I'll have to cut it off.

I got the kit but used Loctite® UltraGel™ Rubber toughened Super Glue provides a super-tough bond that features rubber-infused technology which creates a flexible bond that resists impact, twisting and pulling. Works in all temperatures and conditions. It is ideal for bonds subject to daily use and harsh conditions. The rubber toughened formula is also outdoor safe.

Well,I used Gorilla this afternoon, cleaned off the excess glue and taped it tightly in place, seems to be bonding well after tugging on them hours later.I think they will hold. Thanks
