You mentioned that you have a wave rotor on order so now you will not have to use those pain in the azz cone bolts. Regular ole allens will do!

Buellfighter, I used grade 5 to install temporarily but IIRC the stock fastener is much harder.I found a Mill supply that had grade 12 but he closed minutes before I arrived. Failed to mention in my phone call that he closed at 12 on Saturday. Is it safe to ride with grade 5 allens? I just got done polishing the fork lowers but left the text. Considering how much better it looks with the text removed, I guess its back to the grinder

Did your rotor carrier come polished or is that your hard work?

Hey Eric, my rotor is one of the early Braking rotors and yes I polished the carrier. I also polished my rear sprocket (pic in profile), it was anodized also and a pain in the azz. I would use the hardest bolts you can find for your rotor.
