What are the various ways of Hot-temp coating and what colors are available? I was thinking about having one of my Force pipes done in red. I know Force offered an M2 X1 pipe in blue (I had one of those too), but I'm wanting a red S1 S2 pipe for my next project.

Check with Eastwood. They have an on-line catalog of all their hot-coat colors. Really reasonable pricing too I thought.

Check with Pete, owner of Grandstand Designs@www.GrandStandDesigns.com. He is a Buell racer that does powder coating & polishing. Nice work

JET-HOT offers hi-tech appearance coatings to make your ride look great. These color coatings are much more durable then enamel paints and powder coatings and offer excellent resistance to scratching, chipping and chemicals. Unlike powder coating, the JET-HOT colors will easily withstand temperatures of 1600° F. These coatings are especially suited for components such as valve covers, air-inlet tubes, brackets, brake calipers, suspension pieces, motorcycle and ATV frames, wheels, air cleaners and just about anything else metal. JET-HOT's appearance coatings are available in the following colors: Sterling Silver, Extreme Sterling, Flat Black, Semi-Gloss Black, Dark Blue, Sky Blue, Light Green, Yellow Green, Dark Green, Semi-Gloss Red, Cast-Iron Gray, Medium Gray and Corvette Gray. Some colors only available at certain locations, call for availability.

Pretty cool, the third pic down looks like either S1 or S2 headers to me : )

GrandStandDesign does the Jet Hot coating in colors also and is a Buell racer. I just tend to favor those of my own clan although he is an XB guy

I looked along GSD's website but they don't offer anything in red. I'll probably end up getting JET-HOT to do it. That piston coating looks pretty interesting too...

I got Jet Hot Sterling Silver for my KT pipe.

When I sent it in it was badly rusted on the outside.

It came back so nice I sent my frame and had it done the same color.

I love it and get so many compliments. Do it!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to do the pipe and how much for the frame?

About a 150 bucks. I've had two done by them. Quick turn around also.

IIRC the frame was about $230-$240 including the kickstand. I thought it was a steal. This was about 3 years ago.

Shop around for shipping. UPS jacked me to send it to them due to the dimensions.
