I'm painting a fly screen for my cousins MT-01, just mounted it to a jig I made for my front mudguard.

Also a pic of a new brake pedal bush I made this evening.

News Update! : D

I took the Right fork slider, rear spring and oil cooler bracket to get powder coated today, Should have them back early next week.

I also did the big mission of finding the oil lines for the project too... me! I got the run around!!!!
3 different places and all finding it to hard to help!
Originally wanted Earls Performance oil fittings etc but no one stocks the shit even though they sell it
So I went with Speedflow products, Look just as good as Earls and slightly cheaper: ) Earls and Speedflow don't make fittings to suit the oil cooler so had to use and modify some fittings I found at Kingaroy Hydraulics.

Here's some pictures of most of the oil lines fitted, I cant finish it until I have the oil cooler bracket back and have the muffler fitted back in place.

Cheers
Jodie

G'day Neil, The hole on my frame has no powder coat on it so the size will be a little different, I was going to take a measurement on another Buell that still has coating on this surface, just to be sure they will fit. If you could take a measurement for me that would be good.

It takes me around an hour to make a set so I'd have to get $40Aus plus $10Aus postage and package(bubble bag) included. You could probably get something cheaper, But these are hand made not CNC machined.

Cheers
Jodie

If you look at the pictures closely you can see a very small cut out, this is to make removal easier. Just pry them out a little then pull out with your fingers.

Nice work on those plugs!
I like that you added those little cutouts to aid in removing them.
Your brain is big and strong!

didn't get around to checking the hole today but maybe tomorrow. as far as getting any, give me a couple weeks. had to put out for property taxes, insurance on car and bikes, and not to mention the usual end of month stuff. in a couple weeks i'll be a little better off.

if you are a true buell enthusiast, you will book passage for you and your red friend and come show her off at homecoming in july.

i am tired of looking at pictures, as i am sure they don't do your project justice. i want to see it in the flesh(metal).

it is only a 10,000 mile trip. no big deal.

it has been fun watching your build, and it looks fantastic. i hope it performs as well as it looks !!
