I'm very close to owning my very first buell, a 2002 m2. wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good place for servicing in the southeastern wisconsin area. only asking cuz i've heard some horror stories about dealers that don't so much care for the buells to begin with. thanks!!

I've had LIMITED success with Ukes in the past...mostly "limited" because I'm reluctant to let anyone else touch my Buell except myself. You have to own and love Buells to understand....and most Harley techs don't. The only reason I let them do the limited service I did was for safety recalls and warranty work. At least they seem to care and understand, which is more than I can say for other nearby dealers.
I have the lift, the tools and the manuals, and I care about my safety, and that of others whose bikes I work on. I wouldn't dream of turning loose something I wouldn't feel comfortable riding myself.

Hal's HD/Buell in New Berlin ...

They are the ONLY dealership in SE WI I would let do ANYTHING with my bikes if I didn't do it myself ... personally wouldn't use Uke's for anything but parts IF they had them (and only because they are open on Sunday's.....)

thanks for the advice, i'm ok at turning a wrench myself, but i'm not dumb enough to assume that i know enough at this point to properly service a bike without getting myself killed or blowing the thing up. hal's is nice and close to home for me, thanks again!!
