I ordered my Forcewinder today and was wondering if the kit comes with everything to install it? I will post the link below, but I was just making sure I dont need any other plate to attach it to my bike. oh i have a 99 x1

99X1, it states it will fit, I see no problem. These forcewinder kits typically come with everything you need.

Something to watch out for:
When my kit came in, the instructions were kinda sucky.
they said to remove and discard the steel intake support bracket.
You should not do this!
also, don't bother routing the breather into the filter like you're supposed to do; it will condense out the babysnot from the crankcase and dribble it on your shoe.
Route it to the street or a catchcan instead.

You may need to get longer mounting screws. And, use blue locktite on those.

I used the support bracket also, even though instructions didn't say to. The pain for me was shaving down the temp sensor to fit. The screws w/ the kit will be long enough. I haven't had any of the "snot" many get, though I do get oil buildup in the filter. I rubberband some paper towels to the bottom of the filter every 250 miles or so, I leave them on overnite. So far this process has worked well and I haven't had any dripping since.
