I have a 2000 Cyclone.

I recently flushed the tranny with new fluid, since the old stuff was NASTY! Today I checked it again, and there's white slime on the clutch inspection cover.

The fluid looks dark again, so I was going to flush it one more time. (thinking that the nasty fluid that didn't drain out, mixed with the 1 quart of new fluid, to make it ugly as well)

Anything I can look for as to why there's white slime in there, and why the fluid is getting ugly? Or is this fairly normal.

The bike hasn't seen rain or water of any kind since I put the new fluid in there, and it's probably only gone 300 miles.

pretty normal, specially this time of year -- lot's of humidity in the air -- even more normal if the bike hasn't been ridden enough to get the tranny lube hot enough to help the water evaporate . . . .

Sometimes water creeps into the primary from the clutch cable adjuster. At first the water flows along the cable, then into the adjuster and from there into the primary.
I firmly tied a cable binder over the upper edge of the adjuster rubber cover.

Have you modified the primary puke tube? I had a problem with my S1W after rebuilding the bike. I was getting water into the primary via the overflow tube. I've since installed a breather filter. Problem solved.

I have not modified the puke tube, but I've also not ridden through any water.

I'll replace the fluid again, and keep an eye on it.

What Bomber said. I posted a longwinded response, but it all basically comes down to what Bomber said.

I even managed to make the re-edit longwinded.
