Author Message   Brentmiller Posted on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 - 03:35 pm:        I just realized all the racket coming from what I thought was my shifter linkage is actually the header bracket. There's some slop between that allen bolt and the bracket. Did I cook a bushing off or what? What belongs there? Oh, by the way, I turned down some delrin top hat bushings for my sloppy shifter linkage and it is tight and so quiet. I can actually hear my bodywork rattling again. Saweet! Is there an alternative? Besides upgrading the whole hanger with the American Sport Bike unit? Seems like something would suffice. As Tripp said, American Sport Bike does have the replacement bushing. The new mount is worth it anyway. Much better design.
