I bought a D&D muffler for my '00 S3 to replace my cracked Vance & Hines one. I know I need the Y hanger for the front but I'm not sure about the rear since the V&H was installed when I bought the bike. I'm thinking there was a stock rear bracket that I now need to mount up the D&D? If so, anyone have one they'd part w/?
Thanks,
Trish

Trish -- having been down the same road, I can tell you that the Zee Bracket is very reasonably priced (round 20 bucks, if memory serves) from a dealer -- give one of the sponsors a call, and save your prodigious scrounging skills for a more worthy target

Trish, I sent you an e-mail with a blow up of all the parts included in the update kit , unfortunately it's not as simple as replacing the front mount, you need the voltage regulator mount, a spacer, misc washers, nuts and bolts... I know it comes with at least one muffler strap .. not sure if it comes with the Z bracket but it may come with all you need to mount your new muffler.

I think the front mount upgrade was $96 or something.
It wasn't hard to do either.
If you do do it, remember to make sure the voltage regulator's little ground wire has a nice metal ground.
Also, remember to support the bike before taking out those two big bolts in the front of the engine as they hold the rear shock mount.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I ordered the z bracket today. I just wasn't sure what was stock on the rear so I didn't know what I needed. I'm good to go now!
