Rear pulley, Rear spacers, and Key Hole machined by fellow badwebber "Rippin." He also helped a great deal with the assembly of the 90" engine.

Decided to keep the tuber pulley to keep gear ratio the same and keep a correct speedo, and of course to be different.

Took the speedo harness from the Xb dash and crossed with the stock plugs that plug into the harness with a manual and everything works fine. It was a little time consuming, but overall pretty easy.

just realized it wouldn't work with my mechanical speedo! i'd have to come up with a custom dash that would fit behind the XB flyscreen.....hmmmm

did you use XB forks or adapters for the front caliper?

I basically used a XBS front end. Forks, triples, etc.

"Decided to keep the tuber pulley to keep gear ratio the same and keep a correct speedo, and of course to be different"

Sjh did you just weld up the 5 holes in the pulley? then redrill 6 holes for XB stud pattern + make hole in the center of your tube pulley bigger to fit the XB wheel?
I am doing the same thing to fit 55T tuber pulley onto my XB swingarm modified S3.

your Buell looks cool!

Jodie, nice project!

Yes, the rear bolt holes were welded and 6 new bolts and a bigger center hole was machined.

Did the Xb swing arm mount to stock mounting block or did you make a custom one? I see you are using the Xb shock, does it just mount to the frame? (custom shock mounts under the body?)

How would you describe the change in the handling?

It was very hard to describe considering there was so much change between wheels, front end, and engine mods.

The brakes seem to be a plus; I have not had a chance to a lot of hard cornering, but I would say that it is a pleasure to ride.

I plan on putting on a Xb rear in the future, just to see how much fun this thing can be.

That is an AWESOME X1.

Can you add more info about the battery cover box? That really cleans up that area, is that standard on a X1, or from ??

All,
I've seen this bike in person. Even when it's dirty, it's awsome.
Very impressive. Pictures really don't do it justice.
I would love to find the Risoma (sp?) belt guard and pulley cover for my S1 project.

Very cool bike Seth, ya done good!

Shawn...you shouldn't have asked. I am currently thinking up putting the bike up for sale. Really trying to get a price in mind. Like most modified bikes, I need to figure out what kind of losses to expect. open to offers.

Why is it that you have alot of stuff that
Id like to have?
Its far to tempting,so take it easy on me!
Another bike in the garage would get me into a whole lot of trouble.
