ok, not having much luck finding out about a right hand side tank decal for a customer so thought i'd try my like with you guys...

the bike is black. problem is the tank decal is blue Buell X1 lettering and blue and black checkered in the little checkmark/arrow design. i cant find this in any of my books. even when talking to the tech department at harley( they are still searching )

has anyone actually seen one besides the one i have seen on the left side of his tank? i dont remember ever coming across another one like his so i'm not even sure it was a buell part, but it looks pretty good to be a home made job. any info would be great. maybe even a pic like that? part number?

also the same person is wondering about putting a 180 on the rear(by the way no arguments about throwing off the cornering, lol). has anyone tried that? i am basically wondering about belt clearance there seems to be enough room, but not 100% sure.

thanks in advance for any help.

As far as I know, that tank decal is custom made, I have come across several of different styles, still do every now and then...

Second, yes, the 180 will fit..I run one now..had a 190 on there at one point...

I have no idea about the decal cause mine doesn't have any.
A 180 tire fits fine and doesn't seem to affect the cornering ability at all. I highly recommend the Dunlop Qualifiers.

I have a book with every decal since 1987 including the ones that didn't make the final cut. Send me a picture and I'll help if I can.

i have this decal on my bike, & it looks awsome with black paint. This decal was only offered for one year, 2001. If you need the part number, please let me know. I order a replacement set about 2 months ago.
