thought maybe some of you guys might be able to help me out alittle. i have a guy that bought a thunderbolt and loves it except for the bars(actually bought for a chopper project but he had to much fun on it!!!). he was hoping to get something with maybe alittle more pullback on them and maybe a hair wider? something along those lines atleast. just more personal comfort for him i guess, think he is wanting to be able to sit even alittle more up right. i dont know of anything along those lines made for it atleast, but figured if someone has done something like that they would be on here, or know about one.

maybe one of you knows the bar diameter on that bike? might be able to find something for him that way i guess also.

any help would be appreciated. thanks

Flanders makes a pair (at least they use to). You could get them in black or chrome.

Does anyone know if the cables have to be changed for the Flanders handlebars to be used on an S3?

Hi guys, I have the Flanders bars and no you don't have to change cables or lengthen wires. The cables will need some minor re-routing and the wires just need to be untied (Black Zip Ties)

I'm going to put my original bars back on though. Because of the fairing the bars have to be leaned or pulled back so as not to hit the fairing. You are riding upright but it's weird for lack of a better word.
Buell also has a "touring bar" for the S3T but I never checked with a dealer for a price. You might get a better deal for the Buell bar if they have any left overs. Cost me a hundred for the Flanders.
