indeed i was trying to sell my s2...but im glad i didn't.

Since i use my bike as my daily driver, it has to be reliable....my s2 hasn't been such, but i realize that is the price to pay for having a beautiful, handbuilt, and exclusive bike.

my S2 has been wonderful and virtually maintenance-free.
clearly, the gods of motorcycling like me better!

Aaron; here's some more eye candy for you to consider.

http://cyclecat.com/BR1-1.htm

Once you get those bars turned out, make a deal with one of the sponsors (Al at American Sport Bike maybe) to have a few turned out for sale... ; )

ok, ok, i give,, stop prodding,, the design for the clip ons is almost done.. or at least generation 1.. hopefully i can find some time this week to start on them. i still gotta finish my tall bar attachment design. or at least finish processing it in my head. It 99% done. i kinda prefer to design something first, then look at other people designs.. looking at others design can pollute your thought process and lock you into one idea. for me its better to come up with my own ideas, then look at everyone elses ideas and determine which is best. the same is true when i ask questions on the board. lots of times i have an "idea" but wont mention it until others have answered the question or post. that way my idea isnt polluting their thought process and corrupting their answers. nitsebes, you are still a very mean man,, and henrik, joining his evil ranks I see.. I like the options you posted , they inspire me to think harder. The collet design is rather cool. But I really don’t see the usefulness of frequent and repeatable adjustability unless the bike has more than one frequent rider.. after the owner gets the bars set to his liking wouldn’t they just stay set? But I like it none the less.. definitely worth mucho cool points.. thanks guys for the prodding, your keeping me running around like a mad man.. hopefully my design wont let you guys down.. AAOMY

Evil ranks, eh .... muwha-ha-ha-haaaah : )

I agree, that the Cyclecat design is a set it and forget it, but it ought to get you close to a near perfect fit for you.

Now,what I'd love to have as far as adjustability is height- and pull-back adjustability. You know, heigher and further back for longer hauls; down and forward for the twisties. Of course the change should happen with just a few screws : D

Those S2 bars sure look alot like the ones on my RS1200. Was there any problems with the bars breaking on these?
