I found some on sale, P/N 91420.99y . What is in the race kit? Is is just a K&N filter that goes into the stock box, or is it like the CF Air filter kit?

The p/n you posted is listed as "Pro Series X1 Race Air Cleaner Assembly" and is just a K&N type filter with a clip and plastic venturi ring which looks like it fits inside the standard airbox. Application is for '99 and later X1 models
