Hey all... checking in, been lurking awhile since I bought my 99 X-1 (249 of 250 carbon edition, with the carbon sold ), though I haven't even seen it in person( currently deployed ).

Anyway, i have ordered the following from Al @ American Sport Bike..

New Carbon race oval,
V&H
Power Commander
100 dollar o2 sensor(which I assume is a wide band)
Catch can and related items..

And of course , the plate relocator(the stock one doesn't do it for me)..

Anyway, I do plan on doing motor work in the future(hence the power commander)...

BUT, right now, I am just trying to get home reg and ride...seem like I am on the right track? I new to fuel injection on bikes..

And this will be the first EVO I have touched...

Stationed out of Virginia Beach, VA..so if there is anyone in the area...gimme a yell...

Chase,

I also have one of the 99 X1 Carbon Kevlar limited editions (206 of 250). You will love it. It sounds like you are on the right track, but you might not even need the power commander if you buy the race ECM instead. I have the factory race kit on mine, which includes the race pipe, race header, and race ECM. There is no shortage of HP or Torque there. If this is your first EVO you will be amazed this much power is coming from a Harley motor.

Have fun with your bike.

I'm in VB. We can get together when you get back. However, I don't ride like a madman anymore.
