Anyone here know how to remove the headlight on a 2002 X-1? I took out the two screws that hold it to the bracket, figureing that the bulb would screw out the back.. nope just wires going into the houseing.... there is a little screw on the front of the light, but that has been loose since day 1..... HELP ME OUT PEOPLE!!!

If it is the same as my M2 you just un-screw all the screws around the black plastic housing, that comes off. Then the bulb will be in there under a clip. I hope you are taking it off to add a high intensity bulb from American Sport Bike, I did that last week and should have done it right when I brought the bike home, huge difference.

Remove the screw, stick a flat screwdriver between the ring and the housing, at the bottom, twist. The ring and light will pop out, catch it.
