SilverBullet's X1 looks great...that's exactly what I'm looking for. Can't quite see how he mounted it to the frame though.

Damn....I like how that fairing looks on a tube frame. I'm going to do the same to my M2, as soon as I wrap up this helmet project for Spidey!!!

Thanks for the second pic on the Silver Bullet. That fairing and saddle sure do help in offsetting the "Pregnant Guppy" look.

Pregnant Guppy...

I've seen Silverbullet's bike up close. The installation is very clean and looks like it was engineered from the factory. The XB fairing on an X1 is a match made in styling heaven. I'd love to see one installed on an M2.

I was the first to do it in the winter of 03/04 after my run in with a car that neede to get across the road more than i needed a working kidney.
Here is the mock up.

Semi done in flatblack

Never really painted her, kinda went the way of the S1 this winter, If I ever get another M2 I may try again.

The helmet's on the way. Shouldn't take too long to get it finished up.

I'm pretty sure it was 2000 Molten Orange M2 in its former life.

yeah it was a 2k M2, but the only thing that is remotely stock on that bike is... well maybe the lower engine case.. lol, he just got done modding the frame, about 50-60% of the engine is XB, the thing is FrankenBuell.....
And Devdawg, i will see it on him before any pics are prolly posted... we ride together all the time.

and he told me what it was last night when i picked up my bike from his house. I must say, I am a bit jealous. I just threw away one, cousin was in Navy F/A-18 Pilot, but i am sure Spidy's will be better shape..

DANG IT IS NICE OUTSIDE!!! and my paint isn't done yet... I WANNA RIDE!

Blackbelt,
You should have kept it...I see those things are going $300-$400, especially if they still have the squadron or callsign tape on 'em. I have a couple of buddies saying they might be able send me one so I might have an extra...I'll let you know.

DUDE YOU ROCK, the one i threw away was pritty beat up.... cracked and busted... it was an ejector seat testing helmet or something... was hit on a canopy a couple times i guess... the visor was gone, the clips for the mask were taken apart.. typical navy issue.. lol
