Yep Donn, sure did :) And don't it work just great.

Shame you ain't in the UK, I've got a spare seat unit, in BLACK too that you could have borrowed. I picked it up for £5 used. My intention is, when I finally get another tank, to have two colour schemes, just because I can :)

Nice function of Irfanview: When there is a picture open you can choose "Thumbnails" in the rolling screen under File and all pictures in that directory are very rapidly thumbnailed on your screen. Easy to find a special picture.
Hans.

Hans for years I have studied closely the black art of customising and I'm happy with what I consider tasteful.

Tyre lettering is a complete no no. It shows a disgusting lack of taste because it is so cheap and easy to do but it always seems to be on the wrong vehicles. A plain Fiat Uno with fat alloy wheels that the squid owner has fitted to make it look good but he's paid no attention to the serious lack of power that his new found fat alloys are more than enough for. Or maybe an Opel kadett with a huge exhaust pipe that makes loads of noise because the youthful owner thinks it sounds fast, but again it's a slow car with no real performance mods except the K&N airfilter the squid managed to stretch his wallet to, along with his tyre pen he also bought. It's the same with bikes too. The average squid might paint his tyre lettering on his learner legal 125 because he thinks it makes the bike look faster to those who don't know better.

But there's another side to the coin my friend. Real race cars do it. Real race bikes do it and so does Rocket Pepper because his is a real race bike, and it looks great because it's done in the right context, just like a racers.

The battery wasn't by choice actually. Truth be told, when that replacement update contraption arrived in a box, I sent it straight back. What an ugly freakin' eye sore that thing was. It even left the front lip of the battery tray exposed for all the world to see. So instead, I ordered the Red Top 20 and you guessed it, when it arrived it was RED. But it looks real good because it offers a contrast that can easily be seen and yet it isn't as in your face as the pic might suggest. It also has the ability to bring out the line of the seat and tank because of the contrast it offers. It also has a cool sticker on the front (top) which reads racing battery which of course, it is !

Accel 8.8 wires are famous my friend. They should always be YELLOW. This is an institution, 'nuff said.

And how could you take away the DYMAG logo from those gorgeous carbon wheels. People pay fortunes to carry that little logo :) Others get to carry it for free but that's the price of sponsorship, but hey, what a cool sponsor to have. Warr's European Race Buell wears 'em too on their carbon wheels. I got mine first !

You're right about one thing though Hans. That little round disc just behind the fork leg. That's the tax disc that us British riders have to pay to use the roads legally. I've not paid mine since 1999, in protest, but that's another story, but I'm happy for you to blank that one. And I'll tell you this much, finding a tax disc holder that was up to my standards wasn't easy. Some are bloody cheap and nasty. Others look great in the packet but are to big and bulky for my tastes when fitted on the bike. The one you blanked is from Oxford Fairings and it's a nice stainless steel backing plate with a stoved black frame holding the glass in with s\s allen head screws. It's the only one I've found that I liked but ideally I'd like the thing out of sight but that's considered a traffic offence !

Did I miss anything ?

Actually fella, real racers do it because they are sponsored by the tyre manufacturer and are giving the company exposure by highlighting their name.
Anyone that does it on the street without sponsorship is just a squid.
You know that
