Godwin's Law? For example, Putin is literally using Hitler's excuse to invade countries. Fact, not speculation, and an idiot, or dishonest person would call Putin a Nazi to put him in the Evil Category. But Putin is Soviet Evil, a different flavor of the same cult, not the German Socialists the Russian Socialists fought in WW2. And arguably, just as N. Korea "graduated" from Communism to Cult of Personality of the Royal Family, Russia has "graduated" to the Cult of Personality of Vladimir. It's different, in They both kept the useful parts of Commie Tyranny, and dumped the parts that gave responsibility for actions to the Glorious Leader. And Putin will vocally attack Communism, both since Russia pretended to transition into a Republic, and because the Old Communists are a threat to him. ( insert local term for the political regions that are county sized in New York, small State size in New England, and Nation sized in Western Europe ) And the Ukrainian government has cracked down on Russian agents in opposition, and a few local folk, but it's An Actual Russian Invasion And War with Occupation, Genocide, Looting, Rape, and Kidnapping, not a Hillary Clinton Campaign Dirty Trick Lie. ( and she's a paid employee of Putin, so that's a Projection Ploy as SOP her Party. ) So I'd cut Zelensky as much slack as Lincoln who fought the Civil War as much in D.C. as Georgia. Coincidentally, Putin waited to attack the Other Georgia until after Obama got re- elected, just as Obama asked. Joe* failed to make the same request about Ukraine, just a weasel words plea to keep the genocidal war on the quiet side, which would have worked if the Russian Army wasn't a corrupt monstrosity that lied all the way up the command chain that they were well equipped and ready.
