Let's be realistic about Putin. Yes, NATO expanded closer to his borders, but that's because the former conquered and enslaved Nations did not want Soviet Commissars murdering them like a short time back. And there was an effort to get Western investment in Russian business, but that ran aground when it turned out the Actual power structure was the Mob & Putin's buddies in the KGB, who stole the property of The People when the mega-scam of Communism fell from it's own corruption. So there's some tiny grains of truth in the sea of national PTSD and centuries old inferiority complex, the old Russia of the Czars was the Rodney Dangerfield of Europe, and the Soviets were basically the Mafia without the morality. But, sure, blame Bush. Vladimir knows that's a winning hand in Party Media. That he has always considered treaties as scams doesn't help. But... To be fair, The E.U. is an authoritarian regime that no one smart would trust to not back stab, since it's largely a corrupted child of the KGB. I don't see them attacking Russia again for decades, when the Union takes control of it's member's military or becomes a tool of Radical Islam, or gets a New Strongman leader of France or Germany who promises to eradicate the Invasion of Obama's Wars, and drives the unwanted in a human disaster flood into the East... And Moscow. It's never as simple as it seems, and one of the best ways to lie is seed your lies with facts. Deliberate misleading context too. | ||

It's the opposite of your mistaken view. Of course NATO, doesn't "care" about the threatened former enslaved Nations as it's an organization that has coasted on American money and protection, and wants more income, not a human capable of empathy. The Escaped Slaves care about joining NATO protection and access to help against the threat of conquest, Again, by a brutal dictatorship who's military echoes the evil of it's leaders in it's looting, rape, murder and genocide. That's not to praise the leadership of any country, except to notice the former Soviet Bloc aren't willfully blind about the threats to their climb to freedom and out of the abject poverty of a Conquered by Communists state. They've been there, have the manual, know the lies of the Left, and don't want to suffer from that cult anymore. That's also why some are bucking the E.U. in the Invasion of Obama's Wars. They have the old KGB plans for conquering Europe, and can see what is happening, while the Brits & Western Europe fools are in denial. I have noticed Biden* has been wrong on every foreign policy argument for his entire career. But I'm still confused on his stance in Ukraine, he treats Putin like someone who's check bounced. I'm sure a study of the remaining records and evidence of Joe's* bribe income & money laundering might give a clue to that. It might be Vladimir screwed Obama on a huge bribe?
